Introducing...

I used to have two other blogs that were both about stuff I did and they got a little annoying because it was only me talking about me. However one thing I did from them, was that people liked the band interviews I sometimes did.

In short, I decided to start a whole new blog dedicated just to local bands and musicians. They could be any type from anywhere so long as they are a local band.


I personally have always enjoyed local bands more than turning on the radio and listening to the big shots. The local bands tend to have more personal interest in what they are doing and thus tend to try harder and make something better. I do not believe I am alone in this preference and for that reason, among others, and starting this blog: The Local Beat.
